40 years of expert care
Dedicated to repairing fragile skin
Building on over 40 years of research into the skin barrier, A-DERMA has developed a unique dermatological approach to repairing and regenerating fragile skin.
Based on the therapeutic power of Rhealba® Oat for skin repair, this approach offers expert care for all skin types, even the most fragile.

Rhealba® Oat
Powerful active molecules
20 years of research on oats have resulted in the isolation of the Rhealba® variety, the richest in powerful active molecules:
- Flavonoids, anti-inflammatories
- Saponins, immunoregulators.
They give Rhealba® Oat Plantlet Extract its 3 soothing, repairing and rebalancing properties.
Fragile skin
A damaged skin barrier
Fragile skin is the result of damage to the epidermal barrier structure and function.
As it becomes more permeable, it is less resistant to damage and, ultimately, more easily sensitized and irritated.
Based on the cause of fragility, there are 4 types of fragile skin:
- Constitutional fragile skin, age-related or localized
- Environmentally fragile skin, weakened by particular circumstances such as stress, climate, pollution, etc.
- Iatrogenic fragile skin, weakened by medical treatments
- Pathologically fragile skin
This definition of fragile skin was published by A-DERMA in the JEADV in 2014.
A-DERMA's in-depth knowledge of fragile skin, combined with its pharmaceutical expertise, has enabled it to develop expert cleansing and skincare products tailored to the repair, regeneration and relief of this type of skin.
High tolerance for fragile skin
Zero detectable proteins. 24 systematic checkpoints.
- Rhealba® Oat Plantlet Extract is free from detectable proteins, thanks to a patented extraction process that avoids any risk of sensitization when applied to the skin, particularly in hypersensitized subjects.
- Each new batch of Rhealba® Oat Extract undergoes 24 systematic checkpoints, to guarantee consistent quality and active molecule content, for optimal efficacy and tolerance.
