The products in the range primarily target inflammation, while having a clinically proven effect on the various factors involved in atopic dermatitis (pruritus – deterioration of the hydrolipidic barrier – skin dryness – microbiome dysbiosis). 

It immediately calms atopic inflammation to prevent it from making the vicious cycle worse, while preventing future flare-ups by keeping the skin at the micro-inflammatory stage (underlying inflammation, with no visible clinical signs).

Proven efficacy on inflammation
Rhealba^® Oat Plantlet Dermatological Extract has a 3-pronged anti-inflammatory effect thanks to two key molecules, flavonoids and saponins, with anti-inflammatory, rebalancing and repairing properties.  

• Firstly, during the early phase of effector T cell activation, it inhibits both dendritic cell-induced proliferation and pro-inflammatory cytokine production (notably IL13 - IL4 and IL2). It inhibits the microbiome-induced inflammasome cascade, with an effect on characteristic interleukins (IL6 - TNFα - sICAM-1 - IL8). 
• It inhibits the arachidonic acid cascade while also inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase 2 and the prostaglandin synthesis pathway. 
• It decreases neurogenic inflammation with a vasoconstrictive effect on dermal capillaries, leading to a reduction in inflammatory edema. 
   

To reinforce the efficacy of our flagship active ingredient and act at the root of inflammation, we've combined it with an active ingredient vector complex: BioVect^®. Thanks to its reservoir action, it also enables prolonged release of active ingredients for a long-lasting soothing effect.

Proven efficacy on the skin barrier
Rhealba^® Oat Plantlet Dermatological Extract is combined with Filaxerin and Vitamin B3 to repair the skin barrier.

• Filaxerin, composed of Omega 6 and an agent that induces natural immune responses, provides essential fatty acids to maintain the stratum corneum.
• Vitamin B3 is involved in the secretion of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins, and increases the biosynthesis of ceramides in the stratum corneum to improve the impermeability of the skin barrier. 

Proven efficacy on the microbiome
The EXOMEGA CONTROL range rebalances the skin microbiome in favor of S. epidermidis, a commensal bacterium that induces the expression of IL-17, an essential cytokine in the skin's natural immune responses protecting against invasive pathogenic bacteria such as S. aureus. This action complements the pro-detachment and anti-adhesion action on S. aureus.
