Rhealba® Oats are a unique plant-based dermatological active ingredient whose therapeutic power accelerates skin barrier repair.
20 years of research into oats resulted in the isolation of the Rhealba® variety, the richest in powerful, recognized active molecules:
- Flavonoids, like apigenin and luteolin C-glycosyl-flavones, and salcolin A and B flavonolignans.
- Saponins, like bidesmosidic steroidal saponins (avenacosides A and B), membrane proteins and soluble chloroplast proteins, and various phenolic compounds (avenanthramides, etc.).

The biological and pharmacological activity of this extract, as well as its efficacy, have been tested on various in vitro fragile skin models.

- It rebalances the skin's barrier function by stimulating lipid neosynthesis
- It soothes, by acting directly on the inflammatory cascade (inhibition of COX-2 activity)
- It repairs, by inducing the proliferation and migration of keratinocytes
