Rhealba® Oat Plantlet Dermatological Extract has a 3-pronged anti-inflammatory effect thanks to two key molecules, flavonoids and saponins, with anti-inflammatory, rebalancing and repairing properties.
In the EXOMEGA ALLERGO formula, Rhealba® Oat Plantlet Dermatological Extract reduces skin hyper-reactivity by acting on the histamine pathway, reducing the synthesis of IL1 beta and IL18, pro-inflammatory cytokines. It also reduces skin hyper-sensitivity by blocking the synthesis of TNFα, a molecule that plays a role in inflammation.
To reinforce the efficacy of our flagship active ingredient and act at the root of inflammation, we've combined it with an active ingredient vector complex: BioVect®. It is composed of a complex of 3 biomimetic molecules. Thanks to its reservoir action, it also enables prolonged release of active ingredients for a long-lasting soothing effect.
Proven efficacy on the skin barrier
Rhealba® Oat Plantlet Dermatological Extract is combined with Filaxerin and Vitamin B3 to repair the skin barrier.
- Filaxerin, composed of Omega 6 and an agent that induces natural immune responses, provides essential fatty acids to maintain the stratum corneum.
- Vitamin B3 is involved in the secretion of lipids, carbohydrates and proteins, and increases the biosynthesis of ceramides in the stratum corneum to improve the impermeability of the skin barrier.
Proven efficacy on the microbiome
The range rebalances the skin microbiome in favor of S. epidermidis, a commensal bacterium that induces the expression of IL-17, an essential cytokine in the skin's natural immune responses protecting against invasive pathogenic bacteria such as S. aureus. This action complements EXOMEGA ALLERGO's pro-detachment and anti-adhesion action on S. aureus.
