Hyperhidrosis
Perspiration is excessive when sweat secretion exceeds the volume required to regulate body temperature. For patients, it is defined as perspiration that becomes bothersome on a daily basis.
Hyperhidrosis is most often primary, with no identified cause, or secondary to a pathology or medication. In all cases, optimal treatment is necessary, given the impact on quality of life and the inconvenience caused by hyperhidrosis.
