Hyaluronic Acid
With a strong hydrating and plumping power, our hyaluronic acid is pure and 100% natural.
Our formulation teams use a hyaluronic acid which ensures a maximised synthesis of the molecule in the skin, multiplying it by 6.

Its plumping and hydrating properties are enhanced. Extracted from wheat, it is obtained by an organic fermentation process using lactic bacteria. Its extraction requires no organic solvents, preservatives, sulfates or fragrances, making it a pure molecule. Natural H.A. is the key ingredient to firm and deeply hydrated skin.

Highlights
High-weight hyaluronic acid
The key ingredient for skin that is naturally and intensely hydrated
Our body is made up of 60% water. It circulates in the blood before evaporating through the epidermis. It is this water that gives our skin its suppleness. When our skin is dehydrated, it becomes dry, wrinkled and uncomfortable. This is where hyaluronic acid comes in. This pure and natural molecule ensures water retention in our bodies, to moisturise it daily, restore suppleness to our skin and strengthen its barrier.
In our Avène Thermal Spring Water products, we use natural hyaluronic acid, which is extremely pure and has a high molecular weight. It forms a protective film on the surface of the epidermis, like a natural barrier that captures water and prevents it from evaporating through the epidermis. This form of hyaluronic acid naturally protects the skin from external aggressors while providing long-lasting hydration.

Intermediate size hyaluronic acid
The key ingredient for plumped-up skin
While high molecular weight hyaluronic acid hydrates and plumps the skin on the surface, our intermediate size Hyaluronic Acid (HAF 120) is composed of smaller fragments, allowing it to work deeper.
Perfectly compatible with the keratinocyte receptors, it immediately activates the hyaluronic acid production signal. The skin is thus firmed in the long term.
