20 years of research into oats resulted in the isolation of the Rhealba® variety, the richest in powerful, recognized active molecules:

Flavonoids, like apigenin and luteolin C-glycosyl-flavones, and salcolin A and B flavonolignans.
Saponins, like bidesmosidic steroidal saponins (avenacosides A and B), membrane proteins and soluble chloroplast proteins, and various phenolic compounds (avenanthramides, etc.).

An extract highly concentrated in these active molecules is drawn from the leaves of Rhealba^® Oat seedlings, called plantlets.

The biological and pharmacological activity of this extract, as well as its efficacy, have been tested on various in vitro fragile skin models.
