Clinical study of the safety and efficacy of EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA BALM repairing patch balm on erbium YAG laser-injured skin in adults
Tolerance and efficacy of EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA BALM repairing patch balm in women with erbium YAG laser-damaged skin compared with an untreated area.
Population
23 female subjects aged 26 to 49.
- Phototype I to III
- Presenting injured skin with erbium YAG laser.
Application of brepairing patch balm EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA BALM
1 semi-occlusive patch application for the first 5 days, then 2 semi-occlusive patch applications separated by 4 hours from day 6 to day 18.
Evaluation criteria
- Skin mark scoring (analog scale from 0 to 10)
- Evaluation of quality (analog scale from 0 to 10) and speed of healing
- Skin tolerance
Results
Significantly faster wound healing of about 4 days (3.86 days), after application of Brepairing patch balm EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA BALM compared with an untreated area.

This study did not reveal any safety alert given the context of the study (post-laser study).
Conclusion
Post erbium YAG laser, EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA BALM Repair Balm-Patch accelerates the healing process by 4 days compared to an untreated area while improving the quality of healing from day 10ème.
