Evaluation of the tolerance and efficacy of EPITHELIALE ULTRA REPAIR anti-mark repair cream on skin restoration with an ERBIUM YAG laser damaged skin model
Objective
- To assess the tolerance and efficacy of EPITHELIALE ULTRA REPAIR Soothing Repair Cream on skin restoration.
Design
- From D1 to D5: a single application per day under a semi-occlusive patch
- From D6 to D22: 2 applications per day
- 3 areas are damaged by the laser: 1 untreated area, 1 area treated with EPITHELIALE ULTRA REPAIR Anti-marking Repair Cream, 1 area treated with EPITHELIALE A.H ULTRA Anti-marking Repair Cream and 1 area treated with a competing product.
Population included
20 adults aged 20 to 50
Evaluation criteria
Evaluation of skin repair time until total disappearance of marks.
Results
Evaluation of skin repair time
On the area treated with EPITHELIALE ULTRA REPAIR Anti-marking Repair Cream, the lesion disappeared after 10 days , whereas the untreated lesion only disappeared after 15 days. EPITHELIALE ULTRA REPAIR Repair Cream heals 5 days faster, reducing the time spent in social isolation.
