Efficacy of ROSAMED Chronic redness concentrate in adults with mild to moderate erythrotelangiectatic rosacea, under dermatological control
Comparative half-face study (treated versus untreated)
Population
31 women aged 19 to 65 with mild to moderate erythematotelangiectatic rosacea
Application of ROSAMED Chronic redness concentrate

- Auto-evaluation of erythema severity (Score from 1 = absent to 5 = extreme)
- Perceived efficacy on rosacea symptoms
- Instrumental measurement of erythema intensity (multispectral imaging)
Results
Intra-group analysis: Highly significant decrease in flush intensity at D29 for treated hemiface (p<0.001):
- 50% of subjects with moderate to extreme flushing improved
- + 38.7% of subjects with no or mild flushing
Inter-group analysis: Significant improvement versus untreated hemifacial at D15 and D29 (p<0.05)

Evolution of flushing intensity (GFSS score) after 4 weeks for treated hemi-face
- Intra-group analysis: Highly significant decrease in erythema intensity at D29 (p<0.001):
- 53% of subjects with moderate to extreme erythema improved
- + 51% of subjects with no or mild erythema
- Inter-group analysis: Significant improvement versus untreated hemiface at D15 (p<0.05) and highly significant at D29 (p<0.001)

Evolution of erythema intensity after 4 weeks for the treated hemi-face
- Improvement of rosacea symptoms on the treated side perceived by 58% of subjects as early as D15 and by 67% of subjects at D29
- Significant reduction in erythema on treated side at D29

Evolution of erythema intensity (multispectral imaging) after 4 weeks
