Tolerance and efficacy study of HYALURON ACTIV PROCEDURE Lifting Cream in the hemiface on post-cosmetic procedure targets

Population

66 subjects aged 35 to 69, who had undergone one of the following aesthetic procedures: 

  • Injections of hyaluronic acid or solution containing hyaluronic acid (22 subjects)

  • Fractional ablative CO2 laser (22 subjects)

  • Peeling with 30 or 50% glycolic acid (22 subjects)

Application

After the procedure, twice-daily application of CICALFATE+ Healing Cream for 7 days (until re-epidermalization). 

Then daily application according to a randomization list:

  • HYALURON ACTIV LIFTING CREAM IN POST PROCEDURE on one hemiface
  • A neutral cream (TOLERANCE Hydra 10) on the other hemiface.

Evaluation criteria

  • Tolerance 

  • In vivo clinical scoring :

- Crow's feet wrinkle, Bazin scale (scale from 0 to 6)

-Skin firmness (0 to 10 scale) 

- Smoothed skin (scale from 0 to 10) 

- Rebound skin (scale from 0 to 10)

  • Clinical scoring by a jury of 3 experts on photos 

- Brightness of complexion (scale from 0 to 10) 

- Uniformity of skin tone (scale from 0 to 10)

- Skin texture (scale from 0 to 10)

  • Illustration photos

Results

- Proven post-peel efficacy : statistically more radiant complexion on the treated side***.
