Tolerance and efficacy of KELUAL emulsion in subjects with mild to moderate seborrheic dermatitis, under dermatological control
Population
33 adult and adolescent subjects with mild to moderate facial seborrheic dermatitis with associated erythema and pruritus
Application of KELUAL emulsion
Application once a day to affected areas (sides of the nose, eyebrows, hairline) for 2 weeks
Leave on 15 min before rinsing
Evaluation criteria
- Clinical scoring of flaking and erythema severity (scores from 0 to 4)
- Scoring of pruritus severity by subjects (score from 0 to 4)
- Overall efficacy assessment (IGA)
- Skin tolerance under dermatological control
Results
- Significant reduction in erythema and flaking from the 1st application
- Significant reduction in pruritus severity of -98% from the 1st application and up to 100% after 2 weeks

- 100% of subjects improved after 2 weeks
- Good skin tolerance

- Efficacy on the clinical signs of seborrheic dermatitis of the face from the 1st application
