33 adult subjects with seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp and associated itching ≥ 5

Application of KELUAL DS Shampoo Intensive

• Attack phase: 3 shampoos per week for 2 weeks
• Persistence phase: 72h without shampooing

Evaluation criteria

• Clinical examination of scalp
• Investigator's score: severity of flaking, erythema
• Scoring by subject: average itching, burning sensation, impact on quality of life
• Measurement of transepidermal water loss
• Measurement of skin pH 

Results

• Anti-recurrence effect 72 hours after stopping use of KELUAL DS Intensive shampoo
• Up to -82.7% itching sensation, i.e. 4x less scratching after 2 weeks
• Up to -86.6% severity of flaking after 2 weeks
• +78.5% improvement in quality of life score after 2 weeks
• Up to -100% burning sensation after 2 weeks
• Up to -87.7% erythema after 2 weeks
• Respect for the scalp and physiological pH of the skin
