Tolerance and efficacy of KERTYOL PSO Rebalancing treatment shampoo used alone in mild to moderate psoriasis of the scalp, under dermatological control
Population
54 adult and adolescent subjects with mild to moderate plaque psoriasis of the scalp (affected surface area between 10% and 50%)
Application of KERTYOL PSO rebalancing treatment shampoo
- Intensive treatment phase: Application 3 times a week for 4 weeks
- Maintenance phase: Application once a week for 4 weeks, alternating with a mild shampoo
Versus control group applying only a mild shampoo
Evaluation criteria
- Clinical evaluation of plaque induration (score from 0 to 4)
- Skin tolerance under dermatological control
Results
- From the 1st application, significant decrease in pruritus

- Significant decrease of -78.3% in psoriasis plaque induration after the 1-month intensive treatment phase
- Increased efficacy on the thickness of the plaques during the maintenance phase. Significant difference with the control group.

- Very good skin tolerance on scalp
