The extract of A. dolomiae (ADE-G2) exerts wound-healing effects, as demonstrated using assays with in vitro and ex vivo models of injured skin that reflect the tissue formation phase of wound repair.
These includes fibroblast proliferation, keratinocyte migration, re-epithelization of ex vivo skin explants and induction of AMP genes in keratinocytes.

Broad spectrum of the repairing properties of the Aquaphilus dolomia extract, ADE-G2.
Results supporting the use of ADE-G2 in formulations aimed at repairing skin, limiting wound superinfection and preventing complicated wounds
