Summary
On the 18th of November, 2022, Les Entretiens d'Avène Americas convened in Cancun, Mexico, and subsequently, on the 9th of December, 2022, the Asian counterpart took place in Sydney, Australia, under the theme "Cellular Senescence: Searching for the Philosopher's Stone."
These international editions, organized by the AVENE Medical Department, aimed to introduce dermatologists to a major scientific program under the chairmanship of Professor Zoe Draelos (USA). Attendees had the opportunity to enrich their knowledge through lectures delivered by preeminent international experts on the subject of skin aging and senescence. The insights garnered from these conferences culminated in the composition of five scholarly articles concerning the treatment and prevention of aging. These articles, co-authored by distinguished international thought leaders, have been published in the esteemed Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEADV).
