Pruritus is a common symptom of atopic dermatitis. 
A clinical study was published in 2017 in the European Journal of Dermatology. It was conducted by Dr. Giampiero Girolomoni, professor of Dermatology and Head of the Dermatology Service in the Medical Department at the Medical School of the University of Verona, Italy. He has published numerous scientific articles and also helped draft the guidelines for the treatment of atopic dermatitis published in 2018.
This study showed that XeraCalm A.D cream prevents the pruritus caused by atopic dermatitis.
