Avène water is a very low-mineral content thermal spring water.
This specificity induces significant differences in comparison with mineral-rich Thermal Spring Water in terms of impact on the biomechanical properties of the skin.
These differences are demonstrated both using mechanistic ex vivo assays and clinical studies.
