Abstract

The objective of this publication was to evaluate the tolerability and effectiveness of a dermocosmetic product, Cleanance Comedomed™, for managing acne-prone skin in adolescents and young adults. The study was non-interventional and assessed the product's performance as an initial, associated, or maintenance therapy in a large population of 4230 patients across 21 geographical areas. The product's global tolerance was rated as very good or good by the majority of dermatologists, and its effectiveness was assessed using the Global Evaluation of Acne (GEA) scale and patient self-assessment questionnaires. The results indicated that the product was considered clinically successful in 84% of the patients, with high rates of global effectiveness evaluated by both dermatologists and patients. The study also found that most patients appreciated the cosmetic properties of the product, such as texture and fragrance. Overall, the product was highly effective for the management of acne-prone skin and could be used to maintain healthier skin and limit the use of drug therapies
