Dermatologically-controlled clinical study of the safety and efficacy of SENSINOL Treatment Shampoo in children with scalp pruritus.

Population

33 subjects included.

67% girls/33% boys (6 - 11 years) with scalp pruritus.

Application of SENSINOL Treatment Shampoo

3 applications per week for 21 days.

Evaluation criteria

  • Scoring by subject: 
    ◦ Self-assessment of pruritus intensity and discomfort sensations (visual analog scale from 0 to 10) 
    ◦ Self-assessment of soothing effect (visual analog scale from 0 to 10)
  • Skin and eye tolerance

Results

Highly significant reduction in the intensity of itching and signs of scalp discomfort from the 1st application of SENSINOL Treatment Shampoo and after 21 days of treatment.
