Tolerance and efficacy of KERTYOL PSO daily balm used alone in mild to moderate plaque psoriasis, under dermatological control
Population
43 adult subjects with stable mild to moderate plaque psoriasis on the body (PASI < 10 over the past 6 months)
Application of KERTYOL PSO daily balm
Application once a day to the entire body for 4 weeks
Evaluation criteria
- Evaluation of average pruritus intensity over the previous 24 hours by the subject (NRS scale)
- Evaluation of pruritus severity and its impact on quality of life (Chronic Itch Questionnaire Patient Reported Outcome)
- Scoring of xerosis intensity by the investigators (score from 0 to 4)
- Skin tolerance under dermatological control
Results
- From 8 days, significant decrease in pruritus sensations of –39%

- From 8 days, improvement in the quality of Sleep and self-confidence
- -47% decrease in xerosis from 8 days
- Excellent skin tolerance
Conclusion
- Soothing of pruritus related to psoriasis from the 1st week of application
- Improvement of patient quality of life in relation to pruritus severity
