Population

Scalp explants collected from 8 donor patients with androgenetic alopecia

Application of ANAPHASE+ anti-hair loss shampoo

Application and rinsing of shampoo versus rinsing alone, before application of minoxidil 5%

Evaluation criteria

Measurement of the penetration rate of minoxidil into the hair follicles, 30 and 60 minutes after application

Results

Significantly greater quantity of minoxidil in hair follicles of explants that were pretreated with shampoo before minoxidil application (1.41 μg versus 0.29 μg without shampoo application)
