Study of Tolerability and Efficacy in Combination with Desiccant Therapies
Population
43 subjects (ages 13–38), one-third of whom were between 13 and 17 years old, with skin phototypes I through III. 100% of the panel experienced treatment-related discomfort, erythema, dryness, and scaling.
Twenty-one subjects were treated with oral isotretinoin, and 22 subjects were treated with a topical regimen (BPO, retinoid, or adapalene + BPO).

- Clinical scoring of functional and physical signs (scales from 0 to 4)
- Clinical scoring of changes in discomfort (scale from 0 to 10)

Results for the overall population
- Good skin tolerance and very good eye tolerance
- Half as many functional symptoms after the first application
- -60% reduction in post-inflammatory marks (PIE and PIH) in 1 month
Results for the subgroup receiving isotretinoin
Immediate and long-term effectiveness for:
Physical signs:
-88% reduction in dryness after 1 month of use
-92% reduction in flaking after 1 month of use
Functional signs:
-57% after the first use
-94% after 1 month of use
Conclusion
With good skin tolerance and excellent eye tolerance, CLEANANCE HYDRA cream helps counteract the harmful effects of drying treatments on the skin and reduce post-inflammatory marks in as little as one month.
