Tolerance and efficacy of KERACNYL Foaming Gel in combination with topical and oral acne treatments, under dermatological control
Population
40 acne-prone, adolescent and adult subjects (12 to 34 years old):
- 25 subjects on topical treatment (7 on topical retinoids, 8 on Epiduo® 0.1%, 5 on BPO, 5 on topical antibiotics in association or combined with retinoids or Epiduo® 0.1%)
- 15 subjects on oral treatment (5 on oral Isotretinoin, 6 on oral antibiotics, 4 on oral Zinc)
Application of KERACNYL foaming gel
Application twice a day (morning/evening) to face and body (upper back/torso) for 4 weeks
Evalutation criteria
Skin tolerance rated by the investigators
Results
- Good tolerance in combination with topical treatments
- Excellent tolerance in combination with oral treatments
Conclusion
Tolerance tested in combination with topical and oral anti-acne treatments
