Tolerance and efficacy of CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing cream in adolescents and adults undergoing systemic or topical anti-acne treatments, under dermatological control.
Population
43 subjects aged 14 to 35 undergoing systemic or topical anti-acne treatments:
48.8% oral isotretinoin
18.6% benzoyl peroxide
16,3% topical retinoid
16.3% adapalene + benzoyl peroxide
and using a daily moisturizer
Application of CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing cream
2 applications per day on face, chest and back for 4 weeks
Evaluation criteria
- Evaluation of physical and functional signs of skin irritation (clinical scores from 0 = absent to 4 = severe)
- Skin tolerance
Results
- Significant reduction in xerosis from the first application: -26% (p<0.05, versus D1)

Change in xerosis (clinical score) over 4 weeks

- Significant reduction in erythema from first application: - 4.5% (p<0.05, versus D1)

Evolution of erythema (clinical score) over 4 weeks
