Tolerance and effectiveness of CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing cream

Tolerance and efficacy of CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing cream in adolescents and adults undergoing systemic or topical anti-acne treatments, under dermatological control.

Population

43 subjects aged 14 to 35 undergoing systemic or topical anti-acne treatments:

  • 48.8% oral isotretinoin

  • 18.6% benzoyl peroxide

  • 16,3% topical retinoid

  • 16.3% adapalene + benzoyl peroxide

and using a daily moisturizer

Application of CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing cream

2 applications per day on face, chest and back for 4 weeks

Evaluation criteria

  • Evaluation of physical and functional signs of skin irritation (clinical scores from 0 = absent to 4 = severe)
  • Skin tolerance

Results

  • Significant reduction in xerosis from the first application: -26% (p<0.05, versus D1)

Conclusion

CLEANANCE HYDRA Soothing cleansing creamused twice daily soothes skin irritations linked to systemic or topical anti-acne treatments from the very first application
