Comparative hemi-face study
Population
16 subjects aged 18 to 31 with inflammatory facial acne (at least 2 recent and comparable inflammatory lesions on each hemiface)
Application of CLEANANCE COMEDOMED localized drying emulsion
- 3 applications per day on inflammatory lesions on half the face for 2 weeks
Evaluation criteria
- Clinical grading of the severity of inflammatory lesions (Score from -1= worsening to 4= very good improvement)
- Skin tolerance
Results
- Improvement in the severity of inflammatory lesions as early as D2, compared with the untreated hemiface: 37.5% of subjects improved versus 0% for the untreated hemiface

Conclusion
CLEANANCE COMEDOMED localized drying emulsion applied three times a day demonstrated an improvement in the severity of inflammatory lesions as early as 1 day of application, compared to an untreated control
