Study of the effect of KERACNYL Foaming Gel on the skin
Pharmacological study of the effect of KERACNYL Foaming Gel on the skin barrier using human skin explants
Population
Human skin explants from 3 different donors
Application of KERACNYL Foaming Gel
1 application to the surface of the explants in the presence of a fluorescent tracer, compared to an untreated control and a control treated with 1% SDS (damaging the skin barrier)
Evaluation criteria
- Analysis of fluorescence in confocal microscopy
- Quantification of the penetration of the fluorescent tracer in the different conditions
Results
In the presence of KERACNYL Foaming Gel, the penetration of the fluorescent tracer is not increased in the stratum corneum, compared to the untreated control.

Conclusion
Preservation of the skin barrier
