Tolerance and efficacy of KELUAL DS Soothing cream in subjects with mild to moderate seborrheic dermatitis, under dermatological control.

Population

33 adult and adolescent subjects with mild to moderate facial seborrheic dermatitis with associated flaking, erythema and pruritus 

 

Application of KELUAL DS Soothing cream

  • Intensive treatment phase: Applied 2 times a day for 2 weeks
  • Maintenance phase: Applied 2 times a week for 8 weeks
     

 

Evaluation criteria

  • Clinical scoring of the severity of seborrheic dermatitis (erythema, desquamation, pruritus) on the face (scores from 0 to 4)
  • Self-assessment questionnaire
  • Skin tolerance under dermatological control
     

Results

  • -96% less itching from 8 days
  • -78% lower flaking severity from 8 days
  • -59% lower erythema severity from 8 days
  • Continued efficacy during the maintenance phase
