Tolerance and efficacy of SENSINOL soothing cleansing oil in adult subjects with senile xerosis or pruritus sine materia, under dermatological control
Population
32 adult subjects with senile xerosis or pruritus sine materia on the body
Application of SENSINOL soothing cleansing oil
Application once a day for 3 weeks
Evaluation criteria
- Measurement of the level of skin hydration via corneometry (HI) versus untreated control after the first application
- Measurement of skin hydration level by corneometry (HI) for 3 weeks
- Perceived efficacy
- Skin tolerance
Results
- Significant increase in the level of skin hydration from 1h after the 1st application and after 21 days of use (p<0.05)
- At 21 days of use, 100% of the subjects had soothed, nourished and hydrated skin

- Good skin tolerance
Conclusion
- Hydrating effect from the 1st application
- 100% soothed skin
- Good tolerance
