Tolerance and efficacy study of CYTELIUM drying spray under dermatological control in children and infants with non-severe, uncomplicated chickenpox
Population
22 subjects aged 9 months to 13 years:
- Phototype III to V
- With uncomplicated, non-severe chickenpox
Application of CYTELIUM drying spray
2 to 3 applications per day on the treated hemicircle for 15 days
Evaluation criteria
- Physical signs score: erythema, vesicles and papules (scale from 0 to 10)
- Scoring of functional signs: pruritus, pain, crying, insomnia and irritability (scale from 0 to 10)
- Sensations of discomfort (scale from 0 to 10)
- Skin tolerance
Investigatorresults
- After 8 days of use :
95.5% of subjects with good to very good reparative1 and drying efficacy
- After 15 days of use:
0 skin reactions
Excellent tolerance
1 Superficial skin layers

Conclusion
The application of CYTELIUM drying spray is of excellent value in the management of non-severe, uncomplicated chickenpox in infants and children, notably because of its soothing properties on itching and discomfort.
