Population
55 adult subjects exposed to household or occupational irritants (friction, chemical irritants), on the hands or areas exposed to irritants (ears, glasses area, neck (jewelry...), hairline)
Application of DEXYANE insulating bareer cream
Application 3 times a day to hands or face for 21 days
Evaluation criteria
- Clinical scoring of the insulating and protective effect by the investigator and the subject
- Clinical scoring of clinical and functional signs presented by patients (erythema, desquamation, xerosis, itching, tightness, burning)
- Illustrative photographs
- Skin tolerance under dermatological control
Conclusion
- Effective protection of the skin against household or occupational friction and chemical irritants (detergents)
- Very good skin tolerance
