Tolerance and efficacy study of EXOMEGA Visage palpebral balm as monotherapy

Population

  • 34 adults aged 19 to 63 (mean age: 38)
  • 76.5% women / 23.5% men
  • Phototypes I to V

Eyelid eczema of :

  • atopic for 65% of subjects (n = 22)
  • allergic for 21% of subjects (n = 7)
  • irritant for 15% of subjects (n = 5)

Presenting :

  • MODERATE intensity of xerosis
  • LIGHT intensity of erythema
  • LIGHT intensity of pruritus

Application of EXOMEGA Visage eyelid balm

Apply EXOMEGA Visage eyelid balm2 times a day.

Evaluation criteria

  • Physical and functional signs
  • Overall efficacy
  • Tolerance

Results

 

Very good skin and ophthalmological tolerance

Conclusion

  • 2 times less pruritus immediately
  • -71% less sensation of heat immediately
  • 3 times less erythema after 3 days
  • From moderate to very mild xerosis in just 3 days
